Trinh Tran Chau
Founder | Principal Consultant
After graduating in Hospitality and Business Management, Trinh spent over 16 years in people's business - hospitality. She had successfully opened 6 hotels in the categories of Boutique, Business and the latest being a Luxury Resort and was involved in a total of 9 pre-opening Projects in a span of 12 years for one of the largest hotel operators in Singapore - Far East Hospitality (FEH). Trinh was entrusted to drive 3 new brands - AMOY, The Outpost and The Barracks, the first Luxury Resort under Far East Hospitality and curate the Service Experience for 5 brands.
She has also led the teams she worked with to garner various awards throughout the years. In particular was the AMOY Hotel, which was voted number 1 on TripAdvisor and the winner for The Top Hotel and Best Hotel Service in Singapore, and several other awards and achievements. Another milestone in her career was her being voted as one of the 10 most successful Hotel Manager under 40 at the age of 29 by Singapore Business Review.
The latest achievements were leading the brand new The Outpost Hotel to #4 on TripAdvisor, having won Best New Hotel - Asia Pacific 2020 by Travel Weekly Asia, Finalist for STB Best Hotel Experience Award 2020; the Barracks Hotel successfully clinched the #1 spot on TripAdvisor. She has constantly achieved the optimum score of 100 as an engaging leader for the past 5 years.
Prior to launching Trinhique Consultancy, she was involved in overseas expansion projects in Japan and Vietnam and in charge of curating the Service Experience for 2 new boutique brands in Vietnam.
With her extensive experience in building and driving new brands in a developed market, the key specialisations for Trinh are in pre-opening of new brands, hotel management and leadership, customer experience design, team building and millennial leadership. She has cultivated the necessary skillsets that are required to open and run a successful brand with a winning service culture by the right people with the right mindset.
Trinh is also a certified professional coach, specialising in Transformational Coaching, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction.
Dr Nisha Abu Bakar

Dr Barkathunnisha is a tourism consultant, practitioner, academic and corporate trainer with more than 25 years of extensive management experience in the Tourism, Hospitality and MICE industries. She holds a PhD specializing in Hospitality and Tourism Management, conferred by Murdoch University (Australia).
Nisha is a regional and international destination management consultant with proven decades of experience in developing tourism and hospitality industry in destinations that include Singapore, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Vietnam, South Africa, Indonesia and Malaysia. She provides tourism and hospitality marketing and management consul to chart the development of global strategies and roadmaps to establish strong positioning in a rapidly changing and highly volatile industry. Her consultancy expertise includes undertaking detailed feasibility studies, gathering market intelligence, data collection and analysis, facilitating ground up discussions with private and public organisations, and relevant stakeholder agencies, designing long-term strategic plans and benchmarks and developing implementation processes.
Nisha is a qualified trainer and holds an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) - a national qualification awarded by WDA (Workforce Development Authority). She is also accredited by Institute of Customer Service (ICS U.K) to conduct customer service coaching programs. Nisha has provided training for Excellence Service Award (EXSA) winners from the service industry and the Customer Service Professional (CSP) course, accredited by the Workforce Development Authority (WDA) of Singapore.
With her expertise in the area of Customer Service, Customer Relationship Management, Managing Service Teams and Coaching for Customer Service, Nisha has been hand-selected to coach, train and develop service staff of several public and private organisations. She was also part of the invited panel of judges for the Singapore Tourism Board’s Service Awards for the tourism and hospitality industry, an effort to identify exemplary service and raise the bar in nation’s service landscape.

Christina Teo is a certified Masters Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Everything DiSC. She brings with her decades of corporate experience and leadership in diverse continents in regional and country, P & L and functional roles so she can relate to corporate cultures and complex matrix organisation structures.
Christina is currently the Chief Builder of she1K, the world's first C-suite executive angel syndicate that invests in early stage startups. Hence she is attuned to innovation, design thinking and alternative business models.
Christina brings with her a stellar corporate career spanning technology, dotcom and mobile in several breakthrough roles. Her last corporate role was as the Chief Marketing Officer of Hong Kong’s 2nd largest mobile service provider, leading a team of 90 and bearing P & L responsibility of half the company as well as owning all devices strategy and ranging. She assumed various roles at Acer in Taiwan and Europe for 7 years - became a country manager for Acer Italy at 29 with P & L accountability. Shortly after, she pioneered direct marketing at IBM ASEAN, then moved to HK with DEC, followed by 3Com, all with regional undertakings. Her entry to dotcom was with Yahoo! as the first GM in Singapore. With no prior experience in the mobile industry, she launched the world's first Windows smartphone with O2 and took the data device business from zero to US$300 mil in Asia Pacific within 3 years. Most of her career was built outside of Singapore.
Christina also runs many onsite and online events to empower women with her series of WomenChangemakers. Through these programs, Christina is very in touch with the aspirations of women and have been an inspiring role model for many. In 2020, she was awarded LinkedIn Top Voices alongside Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Christina is often invited to speak at events and panels regarding angel investing, startups growth and women empowerment.

Fossil is an accomplished Real Estate Salesperson with Propnex for the past 11 years. His forte has been educating the consumer in property market fundamentals at the same time nurturing and coaching inspiring agents along the way. A Brand Ambassador, Propnex Platinum Achievers and Multi Individual Award Winner yearly, he created “Chunking Methodology” in asset progression for his clients retirement and asset management.
Prior to his Real Estate Entrepreneurship, Fossil spent 24 years with Singapore Airlines rising to the ranks of a Purser. He was an ACTA certified Senior Trainer, WSQ Assessor and a NLP Practitioner. During his last 10 years with SIA, he is heavily involved with Cabin Crew Learning Department coaching and mentoring cabin crew in upholding the renown Singapore Airlines service standards and image. He was responsible in facilitating Grooming etiquette and Service Finesse, Communication and Delivery Skills, Team Building and Motivational class, Customer Expectations and Transformation, Leadership and Service Coaching, Documentation and Legalities, Cultural and Linguistic Diversity and lastly conducting and assessing Dry/Wet runs in real life scenarios.
Fossil infused NLP business and emotional training tools and methods daily on all his training classes or during pitching. He is a firm believer in being professional, ethical, committed and honest always. Now he wants to bring his expertise to a different level in going global.
Specialized in Front Office, Event Management, Food & Beverage operations, Productivity and Setting up new procedures
Faiz has been in the hospitality industry for 15 years with experiences in Hotel Management and Operations in Front Office, Events Management, and Food & Beverage operations. Throughout his career in the hospitality industry, Faiz has taken on leadership roles in front office and housekeeping department.
He is also heavily involved in projects which require creative thinking, new processes, innovations, and productivity. Some of the projects include pre-opening hotel in Singapore (2016) and a secondment project in Kuala Lumpur hotel (2019), where he leads the reshuffling and setting up new processes during a departmental redundancy exercise. Faiz has a longstanding exposure of being in the frontline to be able to take on scenarios and quick thinking to ensure operations are running efficiently with high productivity.
In addition to these experiences, Faiz is very well adept in front office operations and undertaking leadership roles and responsibilities, that being his main expertise and forte. Throughout his front office and housekeeping career, Faiz has won numerous awards such as Excellent Service Award by Singapore Hotel Associations, Hotel Employee of the year (2014) by Singapore Hotel Associations, Finalist for Receptionist of the Year (2014) by Associations of Rooms Division (Singapore), Champion of Far East Organization (2014), Winner of Room Attendant of the Year (2015) by The Associations of Singapore Housekeeper, amongst others.
